The Partners Group, LLC and CEO, Rod Cruickshank, have been wonderful partners of Portland Rescue Mission in many ways through the years. Their company culture includes giving back and they offer many service opportunities to their employees. For over 10 years, one of those service groups, led by Cruickshank, has come to help decorate the Burnside Shelter of the Portland Rescue Mission.
Their financial and personal involvement is a blessing and encouragement to guests and staff. Our Burnside shelter provides daily meals, 24/7 bathrooms and a safe place to sleep for hundreds of people in need every year. Thank you for bringing the warmth and hospitality of the holidays to those we serve through your compassionate care. The cheerful Christmas decorations and greenery brighten everyone’s spirits.
This summer, The Partners Group, as an entire company was involved in helping us “Rescue the Kitchen” with individuals giving on a special web page dedicated to teams giving to the Kitchen Remodel Project. Besides being a fun team-building experience, it was a tremendous help in funding the complete kitchen remodel at the Burnside Shelter.
The Partners Group was honored in October as one of the leading givers in our city at the Portland Business Journal’s Philanthropic Leadership awards banquet. We are honored to be one of the charities that they choose to partner with each year.
