Portland Rescue Mission is more than just a soup kitchen by the Burnside Bridge.
The essential emergency services we offer, like food and shelter, open the door to deeper relationships with our homeless guests. From there, we’re able to offer a powerful solution to the root causes of homelessness: our New Life Recovery Ministry.
“I was just medicating my shame, guilt and self-hatred with alcohol and bad relationships.
Here I found healing – from the inside out.”
~ Kathleen, New Life Recovery Graduate
