Community Service ProjectsPortland Rescue Mission has many projects where your school, church, business or service organization can use their gifts, talents and resources to serve the homeless people of Portland. The projects vary from one time events to ongoing projects that your group sees through to completion. We strive to have a clean and safe environment for all the clients who come into our facilities. In order to achieve and maintain that standard, we must paint, prune, rake and repair just like any other property owner. Our wish list includes projects for many skill levels and capabilities. Sponsoring a project continues to bless those served at the Portland Rescue Mission long after the work is concluded. When our clients see the community invest in their living areas, they realize that they are not alone and someone cares. Work with us to bring hope, transformation and total life recovery to the city of Portland!
