  1. I need a place to stay. Can you help?
    We offer overnight shelter for men at our Burnside Shelter.  For availability, call our Burnside Shelter at 503-906-7690.  A valid tuberculosis card is required. 

    We do not offer emergency shelter for women and children.  However, women and children in our program at Shepherd's Door do have free lodging on site during their recovery.  Contact Shepherd's Door at 503-906-7650.

  4. I’m trying to find someone I know who is homeless. Can you help?
    To protect the privacy of the men and women in our recovery programs, we cannot confirm their participation in our programs.  We do take phone messages and receive mail for hundreds of homeless guests, but cannot guarantee that they will collect mail or messages. 

    • To leave a phone message, call our Burnside Shelter at 503-906-7690.
    • To send mail, address the guest c/o Portland Rescue Mission, 111 W. Burnside, Portland, OR 97209.
