Madalyn Willing
Madalyn Willing manages the Mission's direct marketing, which includes direct mail, advertising and this website, handles all donor correspondence and is responsible for writing donor “thank you” and acknowledgement letters. A Wisconsin native, Madalyn moved to Portland in 1998 and joined the Portland Rescue Mission in June 1999. She considers it a privilege to be involved with an organization that not only ministers to the homeless but provides discipleship, education, and job training /placement to those who desire to make a real life change. During her years in Wisconsin, she owned and operated “Willing to Serve Christian Bookstore” and later did private tutoring out of her home. Madalyn is a widowed mother of one son, whom she home-schooled through high school. She attends Household of Faith Community Church and lives in Gresham. Madalyn loves music, reading, biking, and discovering the many hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest. |
