Fact Sheet

Portland Rescue Mission is a faith-based ministry that offers hope, transformation and total life recovery for the homeless. We offer much more than a meal and a helping hand. Our goal is to break the cycle of homelessness and help people grow, change and find new meaning in their lives through Jesus Christ.

Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness

We address the root causes of homelessness and provide solutions to breaking the generational cycle of homelessness that keeps people on the streets.

Ending homelessness starts with a helping hand. That is why we offer emergency services for homeless men at our downtown shelter.

But emergency services alone will not break the cycle of homelessness. Therefore we have a range of programs to help men, women and children get off the street and into stable homes, jobs and families.
