A Bridge To Recovery

Terri had to confront her past to find her future.  On her hands and knees beneath the Morrison Bridge, she cried out desperately for help.

Today, Terri is safe at Shepherd's Door, the women and children's recovery center of Portland Rescue Mission.  Through counseling, she's healing emotionally and growing spiritually.  Every day, she's one step closer to a brand new life.

He Came Back Home

After years of travel, Mark landed right where he began.  His life had once been stable with a marriage of 17 years.  But after the divorce, he lost his job.  Life unraveled quickly.

Homeless, Mark wandered the country working odd jobs.  He numbed his emotional pain with drinking.  But life like that became unbearable.

In search of a hot meal and a safe bed, Mark came to Portland Rescue Mission where he found a whole lot more.

Your support helps men like Mark start over. Donate now using the form below or give us a call at 503-MISSION (647-7466).
